Browser Issues
This website is best viewed with the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. All features and layouts work and look best with Microsoft's web browser. You may download a free copy if you would like.

Netscape 7 and Internet Explorer display the site exactly as intended.

Netscape 4 is obsolete. Don't use it.

Resolution Settings
This website is best viewed in 1024x768 resolution or higher but no less than 800x600. If your computer is set to 800x600, the site is usable, but if you would like to change your settings, follow these instructions:

1. Minimize all programs.
2. Right click on the desktop.
3. Choose "Properties" from the menu.
4. Click the "Settings" tab at the top of the dialog box.
5. Slide the "Screen Area" bar to "1024x768 pixels.
6. Click "OK"

Congratulations, you are all set.

MIDI Hymn Playback
In order to PLAY MIDI hymns, your web browser must be equipped with a media plug-in. Internet Explorer is equipped with such a plug in. Internet Explorer uses Window Media Player as the default plug-in. Quicktime will also work. To SAVE the MIDI files, click on the download link on each hymn page.

Site Features
Welcome to the revamped Faith Lutheran Church website. We are happy to provide you with such a useful tool on the web. We would like to go over some of the new features that are included in the new design.

Martin Luther's Writings
You may now read regular excerpts of Martin Luther's Writings. Check back often, because new posts will be made quite often.

Printable Pages
This site uses cascading style sheets to render visual styles. This powerful tool allows us to also make printing very easy for you. Each page will only pring pertinent information to your printer. Side boxes and navigation structures will not be printed.

Navigation
The navigation structure has changed. Instead of having links in a column to every page of the website, you will now notice that the site has been divided into several "channels." Channels such as About Us, Calendar, and Resources are now in use. When you visit each channel, the navigation for that channel is in a box on the right side of the page. This will allow fast, easy navigation to the information you are looking for.

Calendar of Events
The new calendar of events uses a different format that before. Now the month is laid out with an entry for each day. The calendar on the right side of the page offers links to each day's events. You can view the month as a list, or you can view each day individually. This is handy if you want to print just one day at a time. You may also download a PDF file of the regularly formatted calendar.

Photo Gallery
The photo gallery now sports a comment feature. You may leave comments on each picture, if you wish. New previous and next links ease navigation through the photo gallery.
