Easter

Easter is a time of joy that commemorates Christ's victory over death, sin, and the power of Satan. On the third day after his death, Jesus rose from the dead, completing a crushing blow to Satan. We rejoice knowing that we have been redeemed from sin and eternal death through Jesus victory.

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."
Matthew 28:5-7

Jesus appeared to many people after rising from the dead, confirming to all, even the doubters, that he was truly alive.

Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country. These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either. Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
Mark 16:12-14
